The Alluri Sitharama Raju district police on Friday (January 24) organisedan interaction with 42 children pursuing Class 10 and above from G. Madugula, Pedabayalu and Munchingputtu, which are Maoist strongholds. The programme, led by Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Bardar, was held as part of ‘Saral’, a community policing initiative.
Faculty members of Prasanthi Educational Institutions explained to the students the various employment opportunities and the qualifications needed for them. The police distributed books on career guidance to the participants.
The details and educational qualifications of the students who attended this programme were recorded, and necessary steps will be taken to provide employment to them, depending on their qualifications, in private companies and organisations, the SP said.
The S.P added that the students and their family members can approach the police for their problems any time and prompt measures will be taken to resolve them.
