Expressing concern over the government extending Dasara holidays for government and aided schools to facilitate teachers to conduct the Social and Educational Survey, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly R. Ashok said students are “paying the price for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s antics to cling to power.”
In a social media post, Mr. Ashok said: “This isn’t a survey — it’s a circus of errors, and Karnataka’s children are paying the price for it.”
He further claimed that “enumerators don’t know what to ask, teachers are pulled from classrooms, and students are left in the dark”, calling it a “politically motivated exercise.”
