The Government of Andhra Pradesh issued orders on Monday appointing Allam Srinivasa Rao as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor (V-C) of Yogi Vemana University (YVU) in Kadapa. Currently serving as the V-C of Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) in Nellore, Prof. Srinivasa Rao has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of leading YVU.

These orders were issued by the Higher Education Department under the instructions of the Governor, with the official announcement made by Kona Sasidhar, Secretary to the government. The appointment will remain in effect until further orders are issued by the government.
