The BJP and the AIADMK reviving their electoral ties has given confidence to the people of Tamil Nadu, TMC (Moopanar) president G.K. Vasan told reporters here on Saturday.

This, he said, was the first step towards victory in the 2026 Assembly election for the AIADMK-led front in the State.

In the coming days, more political parties would join the alliance, and the chances of victory would be strengthened, he said, adding: “The level of frustration among people is so much that even the DMK’s allies are facing the heat…”
