Administrative vacuum in Telangana: BJP MP D. Aravind

The MLC polls result against the Congress Government is an indication of the “administrative vacuum” in Telangana and people’s anger against the current regime as there has been lot of support for the BJP candidates, observed Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind.

At a press conference at the State BJP office, along with Armoor MLA P. Rakesh Reddy, on Wednesday, the MP wanted Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to show ‘evidence’ of Union Minister of Coal & Mines G. Kishan Reddy obstructing pet projects of the State Government here.

“The Chief Minister should be more specific. How and where did our State party president put obstacles to his projects? If its about the Musi rejuvenation project, where is the detailed project report? Has he removed encroachments or allotted funds for the work?” he questioned.

Instead, Mr. Revanth Reddy had unleashed HYDRAA (Hyderabad Disaster Relief and Asset Protection Agency) on select film personalities and real estate industry without even entering into Old City, charged Mr. Aravind.

“These actions have led to a real estate slump with sub-registrars left with no work. The comparison with the Sabarmati Ashram riverfront project in Ahmedabad when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the Gujarat Chief Minister is not right,” he maintained.

Mr. Modi had built several apartments for the affected people and shifted them before the project work was taken up, he claimed, and questioned if the Chief Minister had done the same here. The MP was also critical of a senior Congress leader of Nizamabad for putting spokes in his efforts to bring a Jawahar Navodaya and showing part of land belonging of the defunct Nizam Sugar Factory land as a potential site.

“Has the Congress Government given up efforts to restart the sugar factory unit? The Congress leaders don’t do any work and are not letting MPs like me to work either,” he added.
