Former Delhi MP and party’s nominee from Kalkaji Ramesh Bidhuri on Sunday said AAP’s claim that the BJP will project him as its chief ministerial candidate was untrue.
“The BJP has given me a lot. I have no claim to make on any post,” Mr. Bidhuri wrote in an open letter.
Citing “sources”, Mr. Kejriwal had on Saturday alleged that the BJP had decided to nominate Mr. Bidhuri as its CM candidate for the Delhi election.
Mr. Bidhuri accused the AAP chief of indulging in a sustained “misinformation campaign”.
Earlier this month, Mr. Bidhuri received flak over his derogatory remarks against CM Atishi and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
