The jallikattu organised at K. Udaiyapatti village in the district left 22 persons injured on Thursday. As many as 751 bulls were released during the event with the number of participating tamers being 232.

Four among the injured were referred to Government Hospital, Manapparai, while the remaining were treated at the venue, said police sources.
