Relatives of Dharwad-based YouTuber Khwaja Shirahatti have sought police protection from possible attacks on him by right wing organisations.

Membrs of Bajrang Dal and other organisations have objected to the inter-faith marriage of Shirahatti. They have alleged that Shirahatti married Gayatri Jalihal, after fudging documents.

Shirahatti’s father Haneef, mother Samreen Banu and their children came to the Dharwad Rural Police Station and submitted a petition, seeking protection.
