Heavy rain lashed parts of north Karnataka on June 15. Rainfall was spread across Uttara Kannada and Belagavi districts while it was reduced in Bagalkot, Vijayapura and Haveri districts.
Parwad in Belagavi and Kodkani in Uttara Kannada received more than 120 mm of rainfall in 24 hours.

Officials were busy clearing debris following a landslide in Devimane Ghat near Sirsi in Uttara Kannada. Traffic had been diverted away from the route.
Officers also diverted traffic on Belagavi-Goa Road to Khanapur Road after a temporary bridge near Kusumalli was washed away by the rising Malaprabha waters.
Bridges in Cholachagudda and Shivayogamandira in Bagalkot district were submerged, and commuters used alternate routes.
Water level in the Raja Lakhamagouda reservoir was at around 48.9 tmcft of water against the full reservoir level of 51 tmcft. The inflow was 1,324 cusecs, and outflow was around 112 cusecs.
The inflow into the Renuka Sagar dam over the Malaprabha in Navilu Teertha was negligible, but outflow was around 194 cusecs. There was 10.3 tmcft of water in the dam against the full level of 37 tmcft.
