In view of continuous heavy rainfall that has caused Musi River to swell, resulting in severe flooding across parts of Hyderabad, roads from Kulsumpura to Puranapool via 100 feet road in Jiyaguda, Chaderghat causeway bridge, and Moosarambagh bridge have been completely closed.
The Hyderabad traffic police on Friday (September 26, 2025) announced traffic diversions for commuters. Vehicles travelling from Kulsumpura to Puranapool are being redirected via Karwan and Gopi Hotel road.
Traffic from Rang Mahal junction and Putlibowli heading towards Malakpet is being rerouted at Chaderghat causeway bridge through Nimboliadda, Kacheguda Kamela, Golnaka, Golnaka New Bridge, Afzal Nagar, and Moosarambagh. Meanwhile, vehicles from Moosarambagh towards Amberpet will be diverted at Bharat petrol pump via Golnaka new bridge.

Commuters were urged to follow alternative routes and stay updated through Hyderabad Traffic Police social media handles on Facebook and X. In case of emergencies, assistance is available via the traffic helpline at 9010203626. Citizens were requested to cooperate with authorities to ensure smooth traffic management during the flooding.
