The Balakrishna Puram burial ground, in Ward 163, Alandur Zone, will be closed for maintenance purposes from March 31 to April 24, the Greater Chennai Corporation said in a notice on Wednesday. During the maintenance period, the public can use the Kannan Colony burial ground. This alternative burial ground is located in the adjacent Ward 162.
