Two-day workshop commences at NITW

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Director Prof. Subudhi stressed the growing importance of clean and efficient energy systems, stating that the development of new fuels and advancements in combustion technology are critical to achieving a sustainable and low-carbon future.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, NITW, is hosting a two-day workshop on “New Fuels and Advancements in Combustion” on May 29–30 on the campus.

After inaugurating the workshop on Thursday, Prof. Subudhi commended the department for organising the workshop to coincide with Prof. K. Madhu Murthy’s retirement. For his significant contributions in academics, research, and administration, Prof. Murthy has recently been appointed as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

The event has witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 faculty members.
