The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has formed 19 committees to take care of various functions at its State conclave ‘Mahanadu’ scheduled to be held at Kadapa from May 27 to 29.

The conduct of meetings will be monitored by a panel headed by Union Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, while the party’s general secretary Nara Lokesh will head the coordination committee.

The facilities committee, which takes care of the hospitality needs of the visiting leaders and cadre, is headed by Minister K. Atchannaidu. Former Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu will take care of the resolutions committee, while the reception committee is headed by TDP Sstate president Palla Srinivas and State leader B. Narasimhulu.

Interestingly, several leaders from the adjoining Nellore district were allocated crucial responsibilities in the various committees.

MLC Beeda Ravichandra is in the coordination committee, former Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy in resolutions committee, MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy in the food committee.

While Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy is in the committee to supervise print, electronic and social media coverage, Minister for Municipal Administration P. Narayana got hold of the Resources and Transportation committee.

Z. Sivaprasad, a senior leader from Nellore and a medical practitioner by profession, will take care of the blood donation camp scheduled on the occasion. It may be recalled that a record number of party functionaries donate blood during the Mahanadu.

Meanwhile, at the party’s mini Mahanadu held in Jammalamadugu on Tuesday, the party’s politburo member and Kadapa district president R. Srinivasa Reddy appealed to the party workers to make the maiden State conclave in Kadapa a grand success.
