The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday announced the results for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. Delhi’s Class 10 students recorded a pass percentage of 95.14 while 95.18% cleared the Class 12 exams. The results also mirrored a national pattern where girls outperformed boys.

The pass percentage of Delhi’s Class 12 girls stood at 96.73 while boys recorded a success rate of 93.72. Meanwhile, Class 10 boys and girls from the Capital secured an overall pass percentage of 94.29 and 96.12 respectively.

The overall national pass percentage was recorded at 93.66 for Class 10 and 88.39 for Class 12.

The pass percentage in Delhi saw a slight uptick compared to last year.

In 2024, 94.35% of students passed Class 10 exams while 94.97% of students of Class 12 cleared the exams.

West Delhi and East Delhi secured fifth and sixth positions respectively, in the region-wise rankings for Class 12 pass percentage, behind Vijayawada, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, and Bengaluru.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta congratulated students on X, saying, “This success is a testament to your hard work, discipline and determination. May you remain dedicated to your goals and touch new heights in life. To those who didn’t get the desired result — this is just a stop, not the limit of your capabilities.”
