The Ernakulam Rural police seized eight mobile phones as part of Operation P-Hunt, an anti-child pornography drive. Two mobile phones each were seized from Angamaly, Ayyampuzha, and Koothattukulam, and one each from Kalady and Kothamangalam.

The drive aims to track down persons who watch, download, save, or share child pornography materials on electronic media. Raids were conducted at 18 locations across five subdivisions under the Ernakulam Rural police limits.
