Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had a personal interaction with the members of Backward Classes (BCs) at Vadlamanu village in Agiripalli mandal of Eluru district on Friday. He stepped into a saloon on his way to Praja Vedika where Jythoirao Phule birth anniversary celebrations were organised here.

The Chief Minister interacted with Battula Jagannadham, owner of the saloon, and enquired about various aspects of his livelihood, including for how long he had been in the profession, his daily income, his family situation, and his financial background. Upon learning about his challenges, the Chief Minister assured him of support to resolve them.

Later, Mr. Naidu visited the residence of Nakkanaboyina Kotayya, who belonged to the Yadava community, and living in Yadava Bazaar in Agiripalli. Mr. Kotayya explained that he had two children who were married, and four grandchildren. He informed the Chief Minister that his family depended entirely on the income from rearing three to four milch buffaloes and around 20 sheep.

Responding with empathy, the Chief Minister assured him that a shed would be sanctioned for sheep rearing and encouraged Mr. Kotayya to prioritise his grandchildren’s education.

Mr. Naidu explained that the P4 programme was aimed at improving the living standards of poor families by enhancing their financial and social conditions.

In a warm gesture, the Chief Minister personally fed the buffaloes at Mr. Kotayya’s house and inspected the surroundings.  He also took a selfie with Mr. Kotayya’s family members, marking a moment of connection and care.
