Judicial Magistrate of Pennagaram Justice J. Nagalakshmi inspected the various sites of interest in connection with Senthil’s death in the Eriyur Reserve Forest in Pennagaram range on Monday.

She visited the remote forest area where the body was discovered. She also visited Kongarapatti, where the accused was reported to have led the forest team to a hideout, from where he allegedly tried to escape while handcuffed.

District Forest Office K. Rajangam has also issued a show cause notice to seven forest personnel on the escape of the co-accused on March 18 during a hideout identification march, who turned up dead on April 3.
