FICCI Flo office-bearers

Aparna Sunku, fashion designer and jewellery creator, has taken over as the chairperson of Coimbatore chapter of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ladies Wing (FICCI FLO) for 2025-2026.

“My focus will be on equipping women with resources, skills, and networks they need to thrive as leaders and entrepreneurs,” she said in a press release.

The other office bearers include : Parnika Gupta (senior vice chairperson), Ranjana Singhal (junior vice chairperson), Kinjal Zaveri (treasurer) and Preetha Badrinathan (secretary).

Elected to CII

KS Balamurugan, Managing Director of Sodaltech group of companies, has been elected to the national council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for 2025-2026, according to a press release.

Renewable energy conference

The ninth edition of RenewX 2025, a sourcing fair to be held in Chennai from April 23 to 25, will focus on investments, manufacturing, grid connectivity, technologies, energy storage and operational benefits, said the organisers.

Informa Markets in India, recently hosted a round table discussion on ‘Unlocking the Potential for Renewable Energy in India & Tamil Nadu’. The theme of the fair will be “Driving Renewable Energy Potential, Celebrating South India’s Legacy of Excellence.” About 8,000 trade visitors, 50 distinguished speakers, and over 150 leading brands, are expected to participate.
