The last date for applying for the ‘Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2025’ has been extended up to April 15.
According official sources, the scheme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world experience for the job aspirants by offering internships 1.25 lakh persons across 500 companies with monthly assistance of ₹5,000 (₹4,500 from the Union Government and ₹500 from the industrial unit) per month, in the pilot phase of the scheme.
The scheme equips job aspirants with the skills and insights needed to build successful careers, apart from providing hands-on experience.
The applicants should be in the age group of 21 to 24 years with an educational qualification of 10th Standard, 12th Standard, Diploma, B.E., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. and ITI and their family income should be below or equal to ₹8 lakh per annum. A one-time incidental expenses assistance of ₹6,000 would be offered to the selected candidates.
Aspiring candidates can upload their resume and other details on https://pminternship.mca.gov.in. on or before April 15, 2025 whereas earlier the last date was fixed at March 31, 2025, sources added.
