Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday inaugurated a wall art, developed by the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited at ₹1 crore, in south Delhi’s Kalkaji. She said the art will not only beautify the area but also convey a social and cultural message.

Ms. Gupta also announced a few projects, such as the development of two parks, the installation of three water ATM plants, and 150 solar lights in Kalkaji. She said these initiatives, projected to cost ₹2.3 crore, will improve the area’s infrastructure.

“The government remains committed to ensuring that every part of Delhi is well-organised and developed. As part of these efforts, two parks will be developed with a budget of ₹1 crore in collaboration with Petronet LNG Limited. They are aimed at providing a clean and green environment for residents. Three water ATM plants will be installed at a cost of ₹1 crore, which will be sponsored by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd,” she said.

The Chief Minister said 150 solar lights will be installed in collaboration with Indraprastha Gas Limited at a cost of ₹30 lakh.

“These development projects are a significant step towards public welfare and sustainable urban development, undertaken jointly by the government and corporate sponsors,” she said, adding that the BJP government will continue to encourage such initiatives in the future.
