Pudi Sai Shreeya of Government Arts College, Rajahmundry, bagged the Summer Research Internship-2025 for her research on stem cell therapy for neurodegenerative disorders at the Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc), Bengaluru.

Ms. Shreeya is pursuing B.Sc. (Honours). In an official release, Government Arts College principal R.K. Ramachandra stated: “Ms. Shreeya will be engaged in the research at the prestigious IASc campus in Bengaluru for two months under the Summer Research Internship.”

Ms. Shreeya will be mentored by Ashima Bhattacharjee of Amity University, Kolkata, said Mr. Ramachandra.

Hhead of biotechnology department at Government Arts College B. Nageswari and other teaching staff lauded the efforts of Ms. Shreeya in securing the internship.
