Arrears of Lower Secondary Scholarship (LSS) and Upper Secondary Scholarship (USS) have been given to students who have submitted necessary documents on time, Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty has said.

Scholarship amount to the tune of ₹29 crore for the period from 2017-18 to 2024-25 was distributed.

An additional allotment of ₹5 crore has been sought for distribution to students whose details are registered on the LSS/USS portal and who are yet to get the scholarship amount. Once the funds are received, all students who have submitted documents will be given the scholarship amount, the Minister said.
