KAKINADA

The general body meeting of the erstwhile East Godavari Zilla Parishad, held at the ZP office in Kakinada city on Saturday, approved ₹1,014.80 crore budget for the financial year 2025-26. 

The budget allocation is meant for the districts of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, Kakinada, East Godavari and parts of Alluri Sitarama Raju district which were carved out of the erstwhile East Godavari district. The meeting was chaired by Zilla Parishad Chairperson Vipparthi Venugopala Rao.
