The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) organised a sensitisation meeting for new licensees in the city on Friday. A press release said about 30 licensees participated. The licensees were also given kits containing information that will assist them align with BIS quality and safety standards. The original licence documents were also issued. B.J. Gowththam, Joint Director, BIS, and Anurita Nidhi Hemrom, Deputy Director, BIS, were present.
