The Kerala High Court on Tuesday (March 11, 2025) directed the High Court Registry to issue certified copies of the writ petition filed by Manjusha, wife of former Kannur Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Naveen Babu for a CBI probe, to P.P. Divya, former Kannur district panchayat president and an accused in the case registered in connection with the death of the former ADM.

Ms. Divya in her petition said that she was not a party to the writ petition and was unaware of the contentions raised by the former ADM’s wife. She needs the copies of the petition along with exhibits produced by Ms. Manjusha and other documents in the petition as the trial in the case is in the offing. The court said that Ms. Divya is entitled to the documents sought for.
