Bharathi Rajaa Hospital and Research Centre on Monday launched a Cardiac, Kidney and Metabolic Care Centre. The facility will provide comprehensive care for patients having cardiac, kidney and metabolic health challenges and specialises in post-renal transplant management, offering support for both donors and recipients. Film producer Kalaipuli S. Dhanu participated in the launch. The centre has been named after him. C. Natesan, managing director, C.M. Thiyagarajan, chief of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant, and S. D. Prem Kumar, medical superintendent of the hospital, were present, according to a press release.
