The fortnight-long Pattu Thiruvizha of the Thirubuvanam Silk Handloom Weavers Co-operative (THICO) Production and Sale Society Ltd., Thirubuvanam, commenced on Friday. According to an official release, the sale festival will conclude on March 21 when customers can exchange their old silk saris for new silk saris. The society aims at achieving its sales target of ₹54 crore for 2024-25, the release added.
