No tree guards or maintenance 

After many huge and age-old trees on either side of  Dindigul- Palani road were axed for road widening work long back,  the Highways department  planted saplings on this stretch.   But,                                                                         without tree guards and proper maintenance,  several saplings have withered and stems of a large number  of the saplings have broken, leading to decline in green cover in Palani.                The Highways department must erect tree guards around the saplings to protect them from damage as early as possible and thereby increase green cover along this road.

Repair roof of O.T. in hospital

The roof of the operation theatre in Kamuthi Government Hospital is in a dilapidated condition. I request the authorities concerned to repair the roof.
