As part of the Coast Guard Week celebrations 2025, a team of 20 cyclists who embarked on a cycle rally along India’s western coastline to promote maritime safety, security, and national pride will conclude their journey at Vizhinjam on February 23.

The cycle rally themed ‘Surakshit Tat’, began from Daman on February 2 and has covered Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka. Over the past two weeks, team members have engaged with local communities at key coastal locations, including Dahanu, Rajpuri, Dighi, Bharadkhol, Jaigad, Goa, and New Mangalore.

In Kerala, they will pass through Beypore, Thalikulam, Kochi, and Panmana, says a release.
