Khanapur MLA Vedma Bhojju on Thursday (January 2, 2025) handed over a cheque of ₹40,000 to a farmer towards compensation for a cow killed by a tiger at Wankathumma (B) village in Utnoor mandal of Adilabad district recently.

The MLA, who is also the member of the Telangana State Board for Wildlife, gave away the cheque to Chahakati Jangu, the tribal farmer of the forest fringe village in the tribal heartland of Utnoor. The Forest officials of the Kawal Tiger Zone and Birsaipet forest range were present.
