The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the Congress have asked their workers to be vigilant against electoral malpractice during polling in the Delhi Assembly elections.

Sources in AAP said the party’s polling agents and volunteers have been trained to verify voting procedures and remain vigilant against attempts to tamper with the EVMs.

“They have been asked to verify polling booth details to ensure the correct set-up and check the presiding officer’s credentials to ensure that authorised officials monitor the control units of the voting machines and prevent unauthorised machine replacements,” said a source in the ruling party.
