As many as 296 graduands received their degrees at the graduation day celebrations held at Dr. Ambedkar Government Arts College in Vyasarpadi on Friday.  

Apart from 65 postgraduates, 229 undergraduates and two candidates received M.Phil in Science subjects on the occasion. The candidates had been declared to have passed during the examinations conducted in April 2023 by the University of Madras, said S. Kalaimagal, Principal.

The college, which was established in 1973, completed its golden jubilee in 2023.
