Principal Secretary for Food Processing Chiranjeevi Chowdhary, announced the establishment of two cocoa fermentation and dryer centres at Ambajipeta and Ravulapalem in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district on Friday. 

Speaking at a workshop on post-harvesting technologies in cocoa farming, Mr. Chiranjeevi Chowdari said that the two centres would be operated by the Farmers’ Producers Organisations. District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar confirmed that the necessary permissions for the two centres have already been obtained.
