The Graduation Day of the 2025 batch of B.E. students of the GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSS IETW) and B. Arch students of the GSSS School of Architecture for Women, was held in the city on Saturday.

In all, 432 B.E. students and 9 B.Arch students received their certificates on completion of their respective courses. During the event, four university rank holders for the year 2025 were felicitated.

They were A. Kavana, who secured the first rank and won 7 gold medals in the EEE branch; Rachana D. Kashyap, who was ranked first with a VTU gold medal in CSE-AI & ML; Harshitha B.G.; who secured the fifth rank in CSE-AI & ML; and L. Likhitha Rani, who secured the 10th position in CSE-AI & ML. In addition, five B.E. Honours students were also recognised for their exemplary academic achievements on the occasion.

Amulya Kulkarni Kanade, Global DEI Lead, Renesas Electronics, Bengaluru, was the chief guest, who urged the students to reinvent themselves and display resilience and empathy, apart from taking up any opportunity that comes their way.

M.J. Pruthvi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mysuru, and an alumna of GSSS IETW, spoke about her journey as a student of the EEE Department from the college and how she cleared the Karnataka Administrative Services exam in her first attempt. Attributing her success to hard work and dedication, she urged the graduating students to break boundaries and not limit themselves.
