Minister for Commercial taxes and Registration P. Moorthy on Tuesday instructed officials to ensure that traders in their respective jurisdictions filed their GSTR returns within the deadline.

In a meeting he chaired, Mr. Moorthy also instructed them to ensure that enterprises verified the input tax credit (ITC) and to ensure that vehicles with cargo were checked for e-way bills.

The Minister also adviced officials to ensure that government departments filed their GSTR-7 forms without fail.
