A total of 41,236 candidates will appear for the Group-IV examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) at 142 centres across the district here on Saturday.

A release said the exam will be held across nine taluks in the district, Erode, Anthiyur, Bhavani, Gobichettipalayam, Kodumudi, Modakkurichi, Nambiyur, Perundurai, and Sathyamangalam. To oversee the smooth conduct of the examination, 142 supervisors, nine zonal officers, 10 flying squad officers, 31 mobile teams, and 149 videographers will be deployed across these taluks.

Additionally, special bus services have been arranged throughout the district for candidates. All basic amenities such as uninterrupted power supply, toilets, and drinking water have also been ensured at the exam centres, the release added.
